How it works

Sift extracts structured fields from form submissions and sends them via webhook. Zapier or Make creates an Intercom conversation (or updates a user's profile and sends an in-app message) with the extracted details. Your support team sees conversations that already contain the customer's name, issue type, and relevant context — no back-and-forth needed to understand the problem.

Setup guide

Set up a Zapier Zap or Make scenario with a webhook trigger connected to your Sift form.

Add an Intercom action step — either 'Create User' followed by 'Create Conversation', or 'Send In-App Message'.

Connect your Intercom workspace and configure the action.

Map Sift's extracted fields to Intercom attributes — name, email, custom attributes, and message body.
